The National Prosecuting Authority has brought 50 more charges against expelled ANC Youth League president Julius Malema, it was reported on Sunday.

According to reports a copy of the latest indictment against Malema revealed that he would face multiple charges of corruption, fraud, racketeering and money-laundering.

The Limpopo High Court heard at Malema's appearance on Friday that a charge of racketeering had been added to an initial charge of money-laundering against him.

The case was postponed to the 23rd of April.

Assording to a report it is reported that the new charges would be added at Malema's next court appearance.

The case relates to the irregular awarding of a R52 million tender to On-Point Engineering. Malema's Ratanang Family Trust was an indirect shareholder in On-Point.

Malema reportedly told a media organisation the new charges were politically concocted.
