Table Mountain named top seven wonder of the world

 Table Mountain in Cape Town will be officially inaugurated today, after being named one of the provisional New seven Wonders of Nature in the world.

Hundreds of people voted for the mountain to be the finalist. South African tourism has received a welcome boost with the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway recording a marked rise in visitor numbers.

 Manager of Table Mountain National Park, Paddy Gordon, said there is a lot of excitement in Cape Town and from other wonder site.

We are really, really excited to get to this point where we inaugurate Table Mountain finally as one of the new seven wonders.

They have to manage quite a strong management plan to integrate the use of the city for recreation for additional visitors and to obviously to protect the environment.

So they are  ready they  have sites that are geared and designed to receive quite a large number of visitors and they  are waiting for them.
