Accident leaves women dead and two people critically injured

An accident on
the N2 north between Zinkwaxi and the Tugela Bridge

Spokesperson Chris Botha said it appears that one of the vehicles was making a
turn on the highway, other one collided into the side of that vehicle.
Botha said a
bakkie caught alight during the accident and tragically a female probably in
her 30’s died there on the scene due to the very extensive injuries she
sustained.
“Two other people
both males’ sustained injuries one moderate one serious. They were treated on
scene then transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment Botha
added.
The exact details
of the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police
investigation.
