Man falls to his death 100 meters on Lions Head

The South African National Park Rangers were on Sunday called out to an incident whereby a man fell 100 meters on Lions Head. It is believed that the hiker slipped and fell to his death.

National Park Regional Spokesperson Merle Collins said emergency services recovered the body of the hiker late last night. 

Collins said the body of an unknown male was recovered he fell about a 100 meters.

The male was on the wrong side of the mountain as he was not on any known hiking tracks Collins added.
