The South African Students Congress has decided to suspend its strike action against Technical Vocational Education and Training which started last Monday.

Sasco President Ntuthuko Makhombothi said the strike is suspended pending the outcomes of talks with government.

Makhombothi said, “We will be updating our structures, as we continue in terms of engagement and what we are agreeing on and what we are not agreeing on with the government, and from there we will decide whether we need to proceed with our protest”
