A 90 year-old female injured in KZN

Netcare 911 paramedics today said a 90-year-old female is fighting for her life in hospital.

This is after she was assaulted at her home on the Natal South Coast today. 

 Netcare 911 Spokesperson Chris Botha said paramedics treated the woman on scene and after she was placed on a ventilator and deftly immobilized her on a trauma board, she was transported to hospital for the specialized care that she required.
 
Botha added that the details to the cause of the accident are unknown at this stage.
