The Democratic Alliance said it has received confirmation from Eskom that it will handover documents regarding contractual agreements with contractors at the Medupi Power Plant.

DA’s Michael Mpofu said they welcome this step and trusts that all relevant contractors and stakeholders will comply by making all the contractual agreements available for scrutiny.

Mpofu said the DA has received a confirm from Eskom that it has informed all the contractors at the Medupi power plant that they need to make all these documents available.

He added that this will help to scrutinise and analyse any of the contractors were responsible for the delays in the construction whether they will be held responsible.
