President Zuma sends condolences the 10 girls who died in KZN accident

President Jacob Zuma has today extended his condolences on the passing of 10 young girls near eShowe in KwaZulu-Natal. 

Zuma said he is shocked at the accident. The girls participated in the annual reed dance, held at the Nyokeni Palace.

It is believed the driver of the bus they were traveling lost control of the vehicle. 

Presidency Spokesperson Mac Maharaj said they are shocked and saddened by this tragic and horrific loss of life in this manner following a successful cultural event that promotes self-confidence among young women.
