Police arrest two suspects in a cash-in-transit in Nyanga

Western Cape police said this morning seven armed men perpetrated and robbed cash-in-transit while security guards were loading a cash bank in Nyanga Junction.

Police still do not know how much the men escaped with. 

Police Spokesperson Andre Traut said police responded to the scene and the suspects fled on foot one of the suspects was wounded by police during a shoot-out and he was arrested. Shortly after that another suspect was arrested.

Traut added that two firearms were have been recovered so far and five suspects fled with the money and they have not been arrested.
