The South African Municipal Workers Union said that it is of the view that Lukhanji residents in the Eastern Cape will not realize better service delivery under Municipal Manager.

SAMWU Provincial Secretary Siphiwo Ndunyana said Brown is the root cause of the instability of the municipality.

Ndunyana said he is undermining the resolutions that are being taken by the councilor including those that are taken at the local Labour Forum.

“As residents of that particular area we have not received proper service delivery because there is always instability especially after several strikes in the area. We feel that he must resign,” Ndunyana said.
