Two women arrested for being in possession of cocaine

Members of the Phoenix SAPS were conducting operations targeting drug dealing in Durban. 

Two woman aged 23 and 52-year-old were arrested for being in possession of large packets of cocaine. 

Police Spokesperson Jay Naicker said the 23 year-old woman was found in possession of 180 pieces of cocaine, worth about R 36 000 and the 52 year-old woman was found in possession of 60 pieces of cocaine worth approximately R12 000 and they were both charged for being in possession of drugs.

He added that both women are expected to appear in soon.
