A 22-year-old Enrico George Roberts was killed at knife point during this morning at about 01:30, in East Street, Pacaltsdorp.
Captain Malcolm Pojie says according to the information at hand, the deceased and the 29-year-old suspect who shared the same residence were playing a game of pool when an argument ensued.
It is reported that the suspect then invited the deceased to the outside of the house, probably to resolve the disagreement. When they got outside, the suspect stabbed the victim in the eye with a knife, according to the eyewitnesses, says Captain Pojie.
“The victim died on the scene as a result of the stab wound to the eye and bled profoundly.’ The suspect was arrested and is detained at the Pacaltsdorp SAPS holding cells.”
The suspect will appear in court in Tuesday at the George Magistrate Court on charges of murder.
