A 26 year old man is appearing in the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court today the charges of robbery. “It is alleged that two men approached two hikers, a male and a female from England while walking down the foot path of Lions Head on Saturday,” said Superintendent Randall Stoffels
“They were held at knife point and they were robbed of a back pack, containing of a digital camera, a wallet and a small amount of cash. The robbers fled on foot with the back pack and minutes later San Park rangers on patrol in the area were alerted and immediately cornered off the area to be searched for the suspects,” said Stoffels
“The 26-year-old man was found in the area in possession of the victims back pack. The second suspect is still at large,” said Stoffels
