A 32-year-old female was airlifted by the Red Cross Air Mercy Services' helicopter from the Franschoek Pass yesterday, after she had an accident on her bicycle.
“The cyclist could not recall the events of the incident when paramedics tried to help her. She suffered multiple soft tissue injuries and a suspected head injury,” said ER24’s Tristan Wadely
“She was later flown to Paarl Medi-Clinic to receive further treatment for her injuries. SAPS, traffic and fire department were also in attendance,” said Wadely
