Police have warned of an increase in incidents of robberies when people are on their way to and from banks.
Spokesperson Jay Naicker says bank customers should take precautions when making large withdrawals or depositing money.
They should check whether they are being observed or followed and vary their routines.
Naicker says people who become robbery victims should remain calm and be observant, without making it obvious that they are observing the suspects.
