Excitement reaches fever pitch as teams touch down

Excitement is reaching fever pitch as international teams touch down in the country ahead of the World Cup.

Earlier today, the French team was welcomed by the seaside town of Knysna in the Southern Cape. Residents lined the streets and formed a human chain in anticipation of their arrival.

The Danish team also arrived at George Airport this morning.

Mexico and South Korea also arrived at OR Tambo International Airport today. Both teams face Bafana Bafana.

Uruguay is expected to arrive later today.
