A 14 year old boy has been arrested in the Ngqeleni area of Transkei after performing illegal circumcisions on six other teenage boys.
According to the police’s Sizwe Kupelo the suspect is wanted for similar offences over a three year period.
Eleven circumcised teenagers, aged 14 years old, are receiving medical attention at St. Barnabas Hospital in Libode.
Several of them have had to undergo surgery to redo botched circumcisions.
