A 32-year-old man who’s accused of assaulting his 2-year-old daughter is now expected to appear in court next week.
The man allegedly threw his daughter against a wall, during an argument he was having with the child’s mother last week.
He was arrested immediately after the incident by police in Cape Town.
The local Community Policing Forum spokesperson Jan Frieslaar said, “The court decided he must stay for seven days and we have already given a petition. He will definitely stay in jail.”
