The 17th of May 2012 deadline for MPs to finalise the contentious Protection of State Information bill may be postponed again.

The Chairperson of the National Council of Provinces Raseriti Tau has urged members to isolate the main arguments raised in recent provincial and parliamentary hearings on the draft act.

Tau says that this will go a long way to conclude their discussions by next month.

Tau would not commit himself as to whether the bill would definitely be postponed again.
