Yesterday the Domestic Tourism Growth Strategy was launched.
It was launched in Cape Town by tourism Minister Marthinus van Schalkwyk.
The department’s director general Victor Tharage said it is actually affordable to travel in our own country.
He added that the department has said whatever you are looking for, you don’t need to cross the country’s borders to find it.
He said everything people are looking for is here in South Africa.
