The Parliament is being tasked to finalise changes to the SAPS Amendment Bill today.

The Bill has specific implications for anti-corruption body the Hawks.

Advocate Paul Hoffman the Director of the Institute for Accountability has been trying to fight corruption in South Africa since 2008.

Hoffman says he is concerned that the Hawks are too inclined to political interference because they are housed within the SAPS.

Hoffman says the state needs enough corruption fighting resources to adequately deal with corruption.
