The Democratic Alliance said it will continue to fight against the job-killing Labour Relations Amendment Bill.

The Bill came before Parliament on Tuesday for a vote.

DA MP of Labour Sej Motau said the current version of the bill will result in thousands of jobs being lost.

Motau added that they believe that balloting is a democratic principle and as a democratic country, they believe workers who everybody claims they have to protect, should be given the right to voice their opinion.

“But unfortunately if this bill gets passed, the right to strike will tbe taken away and that is a very big concern to us. Motau said.
