Two suspects have been arrested for the murder of the 36-year-old woman in Stanford.
The men aged 20 and 23 years were taken into custody last night after the woman’s body was found Tuesday morning at Hennie’s Pub and Grill.
“A more intensified investigation is being conducted in the tracing of the third suspect who is still at large. The Two suspects are due to appear in the Hermanus Magistrate’s court on Thursday,” says police spokesperson Captain Elliot Sinyangana.

Yesterday morning a 36-year-old woman was murdered at Hennie’s Pub and Grill in Stanford.
According to police spokesperson Elliot Sinyangana two suspects attacked the woman with sharp objects, leaving the woman’s body lying in a pool of blood.
“The deceased sustained stab wounds to her body. Further investigation revealed that the suspects also slit her throat during the attack. Police were informed that one of the suspects is known as an employee,” says Sinyangana.
The police further stated that until further investigation and the woman’s body has gone for an autopsy they cannot confirm the number of wounds inflicted to her body.
“They fled the scene on foot and police have registered a murder case."
