Hundreds of Kuils River residents are outraged after a liquor licence was granted for a bottle store opposite a children’s play park in the residential area of Jagtershof.
“They feel they were not consulted in the process and this is a travesty of justice that this bottle store was allowed to be opened,” says Councillor Pieter van Dalen.
He adds that the community have decided to go on a consumer boycott and not buy anything from that premises.
