A brother and sister were involved in a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Old Paarl Road and Mazzur Road in Bellville yesterday.

ER24’s Tristan Wadely said that the male, seventeen years of age, and the female, twenty two years of age, were travelling on a Scooter when they knocked into a Mercedes Benz.

“The young man, believed to be the driver, was allegedly ejected over the car.”

On arrival, ER24 paramedics found the brother and sister lying next to each other in the road.

“First aiders from a nearby company were already in attendance. Both patients were treated for soft tissue injuries and suspected fractures on the scene and they were transported by ER24 ambulance to Louis Leipoldt Medi-Clinic.”
