ER24 paramedics say they have experienced a large volume of calls for motor vehicle collisions between 19h00 last night until 07h00 this morning.
ER24 spokesperson Tristan Wadeley says they received twenty five motor vehicle collisions in the Cape Peninsula during that period, seventeen of which occurred in a three and a half hour period between 19h00 and 22h30 last night.
The ambulance crews were kept on their toes with off-loading patients at hospitals and being dispatched immediately to the next call.
The details surrounding the amount of patients or fatalities from these numerous collisions were unavailable.
