Dagga to the street value of R100 000 has been confiscated after police received a tip from community members in Philippi-East.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Nondumiso Paul says when police arrived at the house they found dagga inside a shack at the back of the house; three bags filled with loose dagga, plastic bags, a plastic bin and a washing basin filled with dagga and more parcels of dagga.
The estimated street value of the dagga is R100 000.00.
No person was arrested during this search and we’ve opened an enquiry.
