Western Cape Transport Minister Robin Carlisle says he is shocked by the fatal accident involving a minibus taxi that occurred this afternoon on Constantia Main Road in Cape Town.
Two passengers, one a school learner and the other an adult, died on the scene.
Two more passengers sustained serious injuries, while seven were slightly hurt.
Carlisle says should the police investigation reveal that either the taxi owner or driver is responsible for the accident, his department will see to it that they are held accountable.
