South African Revenue Services customs officials have seized a consignment of counterfeit Bafana Bafana jerseys worth nearly R20 million at Durban harbour.
33 000 suspected jerseys were uncovered in the container. The consignment had been declared as pots.
With just under a week before kick off for the World Cup, Sars has urged the public to report suspicious business activity.
