The National Union of Mineworkers has suspended plans to hold a solidarity strike in support of public servants.
The union says the strike which was scheduled to begin on Thursday has been suspended due negotiations that have resumed between unions and government.
Num officials say public servants will resume the solidarity strike if a resolution is not reached.
