The Democratic Alliance will not be allowed to march to Cosatu House in Johannesburg today as planned.
The City’s metro police say the route of their march will have to be changed after a security assessment was done.
The JMPD’s Wayne Minnaar says the march will end on the lawns of the city’s civic centre, where the speeches will be made.
DA leader Helen Zille, parliamentary leader Lindiwe Mazibuko and youth leader Makashule Gana are all expected to attend the march.
Gana says that Cosatu has been at the forefront of blocking youth wage subsidy.
