Western Cape traffic Officials held roadblocks over the weekend

The Western Cape Traffic Authorities held roadblocks throughout the province over the weekend.

They started on Friday whereby about 100 drivers were fined for various charges. Western Cape Traffic Chief Kenny Africa says they had 12 roadblocks of Friday.

Africa says on Saturday they arrested some more drivers for 28 drunken driving and one driver for driving without a permit.

He further said they arrested a driver who was carrying dagga in the Beaufort West area.
