Body found on a beach near a casino in Durban

A body of a man believed to be in his forties was found washed up on the beach near a casino in Durban, KwaZulu Natal.

ER24 Spokesperson Russel Meiring said ER24 paramedics were alerted to the incident when a member of the public noticed a body floating in the swallow waters and alerted authorities.

Meiring said on assessment paramedics discovered that the man showed no signs of life.

“He was declared dead on the scene and as unfortunately nothing else could be done for the patient” Meiring added.
