Sixteen people were injured on Morning morning when the taxi they were travelling in, rolled in Atlantis.
ER24’s spokesperson, Russel Meiring, said paramedics
arrived on the scene in the Rondeberg Road after 9a.m to find the wrecked taxi
upright in the middle of the road.
Meiring added that several passengers were seen seated
along the roadside.
‘’Medics assessed the patients and found two were in
serious condition while fourteen others had sustained minor to moderate
injuries. Fortunately, no fatalities were found,’’ said Russel Meiring, ER24’s

‘’The patients were treated, and the two seriously injured
patients were given pain-relief medication. Once treated, one patient was
airlifted by the AMS helicopter to a nearby hospital, while the remaining
patients were transported by ambulance,’’ he added.
