The public enquiry into the fire incident which broke out at the Paarl Print in April last year where 13 employees were fatally wounded and others injured, draws to a close next week.
The Labour department in the Western Cape has set aside June 14 and 15 as the last two days for the hearing.
The hearings took four weeks listening to evidence presented by various witnesses trying to establish whether sufficient fire safety precautionary measures were in place to prevent the fire from claiming lives and injuring workers.
The department says it will make recommendations to the National Director of Public Prosecutions to either prosecute or fine whoever is found liable for this accident, after the hearings.
These public hearings are held in terms of the Occupational Health and Safety Act of 1993.
