Rape suspect sought in Mitchell’s Plain

Mitchell’s Plain Police's Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit is requesting the assistance of the public in tracing a suspect in their rape investigations.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Ian Williams says in the early hours of May 23, 2010 a 20 year old female was coming from a shop in Hazeldene Street, Portlands when she was approached by two males who dragged her to the Portland’s Sports field where one of the suspects raped her.
“The suspect also introduced himself as Clint with a ‘28’ tattoo on one of his hands,” said Williams.
The other male suspect is described as proximally 25 years of age, 1.7m tall, slender build and dark of complexion.
Williams says he also have a ‘28’ tattoo on one of his hands.
