Strandfontein police is seeking the assistance of the public in tracing two men.
Godwin Davids and Lorenzo Ganga are suspected of attempted murder that occurred at the City Mission Informal settlement in the area, two years ago.
Spokesperson Warrant Officer Ian Williams says a 53 year old man was assaulted by a group of five.
“He was severely beaten during the attack and he also sustained stab wounds inflicted with a sword” he said.
David’s last known address was the City Mission settlement and Ganga’s was Bien Donne Street in Westridge.
Any person who can assist on the whereabouts of the two males can contact the investigation officer, Warrant Officer Clarence Driver from Strandfontein police station on 021 370 1500 or 079 894 7321.
