Lusanda Bill

Last month inmates from the New Kimberley Correctional Centre took warders hostage.
The inmates set alight mattresses and destroyed telephone booths and flat screen TV’s.
The inmates held the warders hostages because it was reported that they were unsatisfied about the shortage of medical care and materials for skills training.
Yesterday the Department of Correctional Services announced its plans to take disciplinary action against several officials who were suspected of starting the riots.
They will be investigated for alleged incitement and collusion.
