A 22-year-old taxi driver has been arrested for allegedly trying to bribe a metro policeman today in Johannesburg.
The taxi driver was allegedly been driving on the wrong side of Main Road, Martindale.
His passengers had to disembark and catch another taxi. He tried to bribe the metro policeman with R20.
Metro police spokesman Wayne Minnaar said "The message goes out that there are also good metro police officers who don't take bribes".
