The City of Cape Town has extended the Nelson Mandela legacy exhibition which is at the Civic Centre.

The exhibition includes photographs of Mandela capturing important moments in his life.

On Thursday the 18th of July the world will be celebrating Mandela’s 95th Birthday, people have been urged to give 67 minutes of their time to do good for others and celebrate his legacy.

City of Cape Town Spokesperson Solly Malatsi said the exhibition will be open on Saturdays from 10 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon.

“This is to allow those members of the public who are not able to view the exhibition during the week; this is a result of the overwhelming support and requests that we’ve had from the public to make provision for them to be able to view the exhibition on weekends” Malatsi added.
