10 year-old boy shot dead in Mitchell’s Plain

Western Cape police have confirmed that a 10 year-old boy was shot dead in an alleged drive-by shooting in Mitchell’s Plain on Tuesday.

The incident took place at the Beacon Valley, whereby several people were injured.

The police`s Spokesperson Thembinkosi Kinana said the motive for the shooting is not yet known.

Kinana said the victims were attacked by a vehicle with six occupants inside, they just opened fire without a reason.

Kinana said no one has been arrested as yet but the investigation is on-going.
