A woman was left critically injured after the vehicle she was travelling in overturned along the N8 near the Maseru border in the Free State last night.

ER24 Spokesperson Luyanda Majija said paramedics arrived on scene and discovered the mangled vehicle stationed in the veld alongside the road.

Majija said the injured woman was seated in the front passenger seat of the vehicle, conscious but in immense pain. She was immediately stabilised and rushed off to Pelanomi Hospital to receive urgent medical care.
