White River accident leaves eight fatalities

Netcare 911 paramedics attended to an accident scene this morning on the R40 in White River, Mpumalanga. The accident left eight people died and nine others injured.
Santi Steinman, Netcare 911 spokesperson, elaborated on the fatal road accident, “upon arrival on the scene paramedics found an overturned minibus. The accident resulted in 8 fatalities, and one critically injured victim.”

It is understood the critically injured occupant was immediately transported to hospital, while nine other injured patients were treated on scene before receiving hospital care.

The exact details of the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
