The Portfolio Committee Police has criticised the killing of a 4 year-old Johannesburg boy after their car was high jacked.

The Committee calls on the police to deploy all its resources in order to arrest the criminals.

It is alleged that the boy was not quick enough to get out of the car during the highjacking and he was strapped by a safety belt.

Committee Chairperson Francois Beukman said we believe everything should be done in order to catch the perpetrators and bring before court as soon as possible.

“Our deepest sympathy goes to the family after the litte boy,the modest family and the people of Boksburg Beukman added.
