Bus Driver injured after a shooting in Durban

Netcare 911 paramedics attended to a shooting incident along Newlands west Drive near Earlsfield whereby a 35-year-old bus driver was shot and injured.   

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Chris Botha said when paramedics got onto the scene they the bus driver still trapped inside the bus.

Botha said he was stabilised on scene before being transported to a nearby hospital.

The exact details of the cause shooting will remain the subject of a police investigation.
