A man hit by a car in Johannesburg

ER24 paramedics responded to an accident scene late last night after a man was struck by a vehicle on the N1 South near Rivonia off ramp in Johannesburg.

Paramedics Spokesperson Russel Meiring they arrived on scene and found the lifeless body of the biker lying in the fast lane. 

“Unfortunately the biker had been dismembered after he was hit at high speed. Metro services had to close the highway for an hour for paramedics to clear the scene. 

The driver of the vehicle was not found on scene.” Meiring added.

The exact details of the cause and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
