Two suspects arrested for the possession of dagga

Two suspects aged 23 and 29-years-old have been arrested for dealing in drugs in an operation conducted by members of the Rosedale police station. 

The suspects are expected to appear in the Upington Magistrate Court soon. 

Police Spokesperson Lieutenant Sergio Kock said the investigation is underway.

Kock said the police are investigating a charge of possession of dagga and the suspects are from Lesotho and they do not have valid passports.

He added that the dagga weighed 8kg and it is estimated to be worth around R 30 000.
