The South African Communist Party in the Western Cape is appalled by the continuous paranoia of Helen Zille’s administration against any form of assistance to the Lwandle community.

The SACP said they reiterate they support for the establishment of the Lwandle enquiry as an attempt to uncover what has led to the victimisation of the poor in this area.

SACP Western Cape Provincial Spokesperson Masonwabe Sokoyi said the SACP in the Western Cape demands that the Provincial and City administration begin to prioritise the needs of the poor over that of the advantaged citizens in the Western Cape.

“Once again we reiterate the urgent call to remove the administrative control of the Western Cape Human Settlements Department Sokoyi added.
