The George police
recovered several firearms after a house robbery in Kleinkrantz.
Police were
informed of a house robbery taking place in the area where the thieves raided
the house and stole three pistols and three revolvers before fleeing the scene.
Police arrested two
suspects for the robbery.
Captain Malcolm we
have arrested an 18 year-old and a 19 year-old and both of them were brought
before to court on Tuesday on charges of house breaking and theft.
“We also managed to
recover five firearms that was stolen and taken from the safe of the residence
that hey broken into last week.” Pojie added.
He also said both
suspects were remanded in custody and are expected to make another appearance
in court on the 18 of August.
