The Western Cape High Court
has struck off the roll the Economic Freedom Fighters's application to have the
speaker of the National Assembly interdicted from removing the party's Members
of Parliament during the president's question and answer session this
afternoon.
Parliament says the court
ruled that the application was not urgent. According to Parliament, the EFF
also wanted to have the session postponed. President Jacob Zuma is expected to
give oral replies to questions in the National Assembly today. The EFF members
have been previously kicked out of Parliament.
